Dr. Agouris’ research interests are focused in the automation of processes for spatial information extraction from digital imagery, and the integration of digital photogrammetry and image analysis within spatial and spatio-temporal information systems. She is the recipient of a CAREER award (1997) from the National Science Foundation (Information and Data Management Program).
