PURPOSE To evaluate the sonographic appearance of the peroneus quartus muscle. MATERIALS AND METHODS Thirty-two consecutive patients who underwent both sonography and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of the lateral ankle were retrospectively identified during 42 months.
