Zlin 20. a 30. let minuleho stoleti, je produktem snahy firmy Baťa vybudovat město vyznacujici se dokonalosti organizace fyzickeho i socialniho prostoru (strukturace spolecnosti strukturaci prostoru a vice versa), v němž by vse mělo svůj řad a v němž by měl každý sve misto přesně vymezene misto.
