In this paper, we present some applications of quaternions and octonions. We present the real matrix representations for complex octonions and some of their properties which can be used in computations where these elements are involved. Moreover, we give a set of invertible elements in split quaternion algebras and in split octonion algebras.

Some remarks about Fibonacci elements in an arbitrary algebra
In this paper, we prove some relations between Fibonacci elements in an arbitrary algebra. Moreover, we define imaginary Fibonacci quaternions and imaginary Fibonacci octonions and we prove thatExpand
Real Matrix Representations for the Complex Quaternions
Starting from known results, due to Y. Tian in [5], referring to the real matrix representations of the real quaternions, in this paper we will investigate the left and right real matrixExpand

In this paper, we investigate some properties of generalized Fibonacci quaternions and Fibonacci-Narayana quaternions in a generalized quaternion algebra.
SOME PROPERTIES OF FIBONACCI AND LUCAS SYMBOL ELEMENTS
In this paper, we study some properties of the Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. With these relations, we proved some new properties for the Fibonacci quaternions and Fibonacci symbol elements.
Some equations over generalized quaternion and octonion division algebras
It is known that any polynomial of degree n with coefficients in a field K has at most n roots in K. If the coefficients are inH (the quaternion algebra), the situation is different. For H over theExpand
ABOUT QUATERNION ALGEBRAS AND SYMBOL ALGEBRAS
Symbol algebras have many applications in various domains of mathematics, as for example number theory (class field theory). Since these algebras are a natural generalization of the quaternionExpand
An Efficient Method for Solving Equations in Generalized Quaternion and Octonion Algebras
Quaternions often appear in wide areas of applied science and engineering such as wireless communications systems, mechanics, etc. It is known that are two types of non-isomorphic generalizedExpand
Holomorphic Functions in Generalized Cayley-Dickson Algebras
In this paper we investigated some properties of holomorphic functions (belonging to the kernel of the Dirac operator) defined on domains of the real Cayley-Dickson algebras. For this purpose, weExpand

TLDR
In the context of space-time block codes (STBCs), the theory of generalized quaternion and biquaternion algebras over arbitrary base fields is presented, as well as quadratic form theoretic criteria to check if such algeBRas are division alge bras. Expand
Some examples of division symbol algebras of degree 3 and 5
In this paper we provide an algorithm to compute the product between two elements in a symbol algebra of degree n and we find an octonion non-division algebra in a symbol algebra of degree three.Expand
