A bstractWe investigate the physical properties of the de Sitter spacetime and new type-de Sitter black holes in new massive gravity, a higher derivative gravity theory in three dimensions. We calculate thermodynamic quantities and check that the first law of thermodynamics is satisfied. In particular, we obtain the energies of the de Sitter spacetime and new type-de Sitter black holes from the renormalized Brown-York boundary stress tensor on the Euclidean surfaces at late temporal infinity…

Black holes in massive gravity: quasinormal modes of Dirac field perturbations
We have studied quasinormal modes of spinor $\frac{1}{2}$, massless Dirac field perturbations of a black hole in massive gravity. The parameters of the theory, such as the mass of the black hole, the
Quasi-normal modes and the area spectrum of a near extremal de Sitter black hole with conformally coupled scalar field
In this paper, we have studied a black hole in de Sitter space which has a conformally coupled scalar field in the background. This black hole is also known as the MTZ black hole. We have obtained

We propose a novel prescription for computing the boundary stress tensor and charges of asymptotically de Sitter (dS) spacetimes from data at early or late time infinity. If there is a holographic
A Lifshitz Black Hole in Four Dimensional R**2 Gravity

We consider a higher derivative gravity theory in four dimensions with a negative cosmological constant and show that vacuum solutions of both Lifshitz type and Schrodinger type with arbitrary

A bstractUnlike three-dimensional Einstein gravity, three-dimensional massive gravity admits asymptotically de Sitter space (dS) black hole solutions. These black holes present interesting features
QUASINORMAL MODES AND ENTROPY SPECTRUM OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL GÖDEL BLACK HOLE
We have studied perturbations of scalar and spinor field in the background of three-dimensional Godel black hole. The wave equations are shown to be exactly solvable in terms of hypergeometric
Entropy spectrum of the D-dimensional massless topological black hole
There are exact solutions to Einstein’s equations with negative cosmological constant that represent black holes whose event horizons are manifolds of negative curvature, the so-called topological
Quasinormal modes of AdS black holes and the approach to thermal equilibrium

We investigate the decay of a scalar field outside a Schwarzschild anti de Sitter black hole. This is determined by computing the complex frequencies associated with quasinormal modes. There are

We show that an analytical continuation of the Vuorio solution to three-dimensional topologically massive gravity leads to a two-parameter family of black-hole solutions, which are geodesically

We investigate the Brown-York stress tensor for curvature-squared theories. This requires a generalized Gibbons-Hawking term in order to establish a well-posed variational principle, which is

The extension to massive N-extended supergravity is discussed, the "cosmological" extension that admits an anti-de Sitter vacuum is presented, and a more general model propagates the two spin-2 helicity states with different masses.
