On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the death ofAlbert Kuntz (1879–1957), it is fitting that his great accomplishments be remembered. Present knowledge of the autonomic nervous system has been acquired and recorded over a long period of time. The contributions have been made by many investigators, from the crude observations of the early workers to the refinements and techniques of modern day scientists.
