One can then define BPGL and a motivic analog of the Adams-Novikov spectral sequence converging to the 2-completed motivic stable homotopy theory π ∗ . The E2-term is equal to the topological E2-term, but with dimensions shifted by twists, and tensored with Z[θ]. The differentials mimic the topological differentials, but there is a difference in twist. An example is given by the following peculiar result:
