The melting point of pure liquid ozone has been determined by two methods and found to be —192.5±0.4°C. The surface tension of pure ozone at —182.7°C is 38.1±0.2 dynes/cm. Densities of pure liquid ozone are as follows: 1.5727±0.0004 g/cm3 at —182.9°C, 1.5839±0.0011 g/cm3 at —185.6°C, and 1.6130±0.0004 at —195.6°C, the last value being for the super‐cooled liquid. The viscosity of pure liquid ozone is 1.56±0.2 centipoises at —183.0°C and 4.14±0.5 centipoises for the supercooled liquid at —195.6… CONTINUE READING
