This study investigated the room-temperature compression molding/particle leaching approach to fabricate three-dimensional porous scaffolds for tissue engineering. Scaffolds with anatomical shapes (ear, joint, tube, cylinder) were made from biodegradable poly(D,L-lactide) and poly[(D,L-lactide)-co-glycolide].
