We present a method for solving BPS equations obtained in the collective-field approach to matrix models. The method enables us to find BPS solutions and quantum excitations around these solutions in the one-matrix model, and in general for the Calogero model. These semiclassical solutions correspond to giant gravitons described by matrix models obtained in the framework of AdS/CFT correspondence. The two-field model, associated with two types of giant gravitons, is investigated. In this…

Solitons and giants in matrix model

We present a method for solving BPS equations obtained in the collective‐field approach to matrix models. The method enables us to find BPS solutions and quantum excitations around these solutions in

Solitons in the duality-based matrix model

We analyze soliton solutions in the duality-based matrix model. There are two types of solution, a one soliton-antisoliton solution (with the constant boundary condition at infinity) and a periodic

Fluctuations around periodic BPS-density waves in the Calogero model

The collective field formulation of the Calogero model supports periodic density waves. An important set of such density waves is a two-parameter family of BPS solutions of the equations of motion of

Entropy growth in the early universe and confirmation of initial big bang conditions ( Wheeler De Witt eqn. results vs. String theory

Initial relic entropy growth is presented as a natural outgrowth of relic graviton production, as a generalization of Dr. J.Y Ng‟s infinite quantum statistics. The adaptation and modification of Ng‟s

How can GW/graviton generation has semi classical features, and what the implications are for cosmological re acceleration of the universe, and initial relic entropy generation in term of the importance of dimensions.

We argue in this document that initial vacuum state values possibly responsible for GW generation in relic conditions in the initial onset of inflation may have a temporary un squeezed, possibly even

Detailing Coherent, Minimum Uncertainty States of Gravitons, as Semi Classical Components of Gravity Waves, and How Squeezed States Affect Upper Limits To Graviton Mass

We present what is relevant to squeezed states of initial space time and how that affects both the composition of relic GW, and also gravitons. A side issue to consider is if gravitons can be

Detailing Minimum Parameters for the Red Shift, Frequency, Strain, and Wavelength of Gravitational Waves / Gravitons, and Impact Upon GW astronomy for Experimentally Falsifiable Measurements to Evaluate Current models of Cosmology

This document briefly outlines some of the issues pertinent to early inflation and how they affect strain readings for a GW detector, GW wavelengths, and the number of gravitons which may be

Entropy Growth in the Early Universe, and the Search for Determining if Gravity is Classical or Quantum, Part I (Confirmation of Initial Big Bang Conditions?)

We begin our inquiry by asking two questions. First, is there an approximate match up between the total entropy of the universe, and the sum total of entropy between super massive black holes at the

Entropy Growth in the Early Universe, and the Search for Determining if Gravity is Classical or Quantum Foundations (Is Gravity a Classical or Quantum Phenomenon at Its Genesis 13.7 Billion Years Ago?)

In the 12th Marcel Grossmann Meeting, July 9th, 2009, the author raised the issue of whether early graviton production could affect non-Gaussian contributions to DM density profiles. Non gaussianity

Solitons and excitations in the duality-based matrix model

We analyse a specific, duality-based generalization of the hermitean matrix model. The existence of two collective fields enables us to describe specific excitations of the hermitean matrix model. By

Waves and solitons in the continuum limit of the Calogero-Sutherland model.

The generic wave is shown to correspond to a two-band state in the quantum description of the system, while the limiting cases of solitons and phonons correspond to particle and hole excitations.

A toy model for the AdS/CFT correspondence

We study the large-N gauged quantum mecchanics for a single hermitean matrix in the Harmonic oscillator potential well as a toy model for the AdS/CFT correspondence. We argue that the dual geometry

Strings from Tachyons

We propose a new interpretation of the c=1 matrix model as the world-line theory of N unstable D-particles, in which the hermitian matrix is provided by the non- abelian open string tachyon. For

Non-perturbative collective field theory

Two-dimensional unoriented strings and matrix models

We investigate unoriented strings and superstrings in two dimensions and their dual matrix quantum mechanics. Most of the models we study have a tachyon tadpole coming from the RP2 worldsheet which

Giant gravitons in AdS/CFT (I): matrix model and back reaction

In this article we study giant gravitons in the framework of AdS/CFT correspondence. First, we show how to describe these configurations in the CFT side using a matrix model. In this picture, giant

Multi-vortex solution in the Sutherland model

We consider the large-N Sutherland model in the Hamiltonian collective-field approach based on the 1/N expansion. The Bogomol'nyi limit appears and the corresponding solutions are given by

Notes on collective field theory of matrix and spin Calogero models

Matrix models and related Spin-Calogero-Sutherland models are of major relevance in a variety of subjects, ranging from condensed matter physics to QCD and low dimensional string theory. They are
