title={Solitary Wave Transformation on the Underwater Step : Theory and Numerical Experiments},
author={Efim Pelinovsky and Byung Ho Choi and Tatiana Talipova and Seung Bhum Woo and Dong Chule Kim},
Transformation of the solitary wave on the underwater step is studied analytically and numerically. The theoretical model includes the linear potential description of the wave transformation on a step and weakly nonlinear theory of long waves for reflected and transmitted waves far from a step. Numerical simulation of the solitary wave transformation on an underwater step is performed in the framework of various models: the Korteweg de Vries equation, extended Boussinesq-like system and fully… CONTINUE READING
