}Purpose:To analyze the outcomes of patients treated for solitary plasmacytoma with definitive radiotherapy (RT). Material and Methods:Thirty-two patients with solitary plasmacytoma of bone (SPB; 22 patients) and extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP; 10 patients) were treated between 1963 and 2006. The median RT dose was around 42.7 Gy (range, 15–54 Gy) over a median of 25 fractions (range, 1–32 fractions). No patient received adjuvant chemotherapy. Median follow-up was 10.1 years (range, 1–33 years…

Investigation of potential prognostic factors affecting patient outcomes and the optimal methods and effects of radiotherapy in the management of extramedullary plasmacytoma revealed that RT was a favourable factor for all examined endpoints.
Long-term Outcomes After Definitive Radiation Therapy for Solitary Plasmacytoma

A higher rate of progression to multiple myeloma and lower survival in patients with SPB compared with EMP is observed, and moderate RT with moderate doses results in excellent local control.

The aim of this article is the analysis of this entity based on the presentation of a 64-year-old man without previous medical history, with a mass in the left mandibular angle extending to the parotid region on the same side, which confirmed the diagnosis of SBP.
Outcome prediction in plasmacytoma of bone: a risk model utilizing bone marrow flow cytometry and light-chain analysis.

Using multiparameter flow cytometry to detect occult marrow disease in patients with solitary plasmacytoma of bone and assess its value in predicting outcome found it possible to define patients with an excellent outcome and high-risk patients (OMD and/or ULC, 75% progression; P = .001).
Clinical Course of a Patient With Kidney Failure Due to Isolated Bilateral Renal Extramedullary Plasmacytomas.

A 69-year-old man who developed chronic kidney disease stage 4 between 2009 and 2012 required clinical follow-up that ultimately led to thorough imaging and bilateral kidney biopsy, and a chemotherapy regimen similar to that for multiple myeloma was determined to be most reasonable.
