The work has surveyed migration in selected University and Special Libraries in Nigeria, which was based on the experience of seven automated libraries in which four have changed from one library software to another. The objective of the study is to ascertain the major consideration in the choice of software by the selected library, to examine the problems encountered and reasons for the change of software.
