This study investigated levels of abstinence social support and abstinence self-efficacy in relation to characteristics among recovering substance abusers (57 men, 43 women) residing in Oxford Houses. Significant relationships between treatment and sociodemographic variables were observed on measures of abstinence social support and abstinence self-efficacy.
