In this research, the dyeability of leathers by using dye extract obtained from the extraction of onion skins (Allium cepa) and obtained fastnesses have been investigated. Aluminium sulfate (KAI(SO4)2.12H2O), copper sulfate (CuSO4.5H2O) and ferrous sulfate (FeSO4.7H2O) mordants have been experimented to obtain various colors and enhance the fastness properties of dyed leathers.
