Sir: Skin necrosis is an unusual feature of Henoch-SchOnlein purpura. We describe a case in a child following venepuncture. A 5-year-old boy presented with abdominal pain, arthralgia, macroscopic haematuria and the classical rash of Henoch-Sch6nlein purpura. He was an atopic child with mild asthma who had suffered with eczema.
