This paper presents a digital acceleration controller for sinusoidal tests using switching mode power amplifier (SMPA). The proposed method is based on two control loops: one for the shaker's acceleration control and another for the SMPA output voltage control. A simple and efficient voltage-controlled method is used in the SMPA.
