Seromucinous hamartomas were first described in 1974. Since then, few additional cases have been reported. In addition to the dearth of reports on these lesions, the fact that they may involve the anterior nasal septum and the ventral skullbase and may also exhibit bone thinning are features that have not been described with these otherwise benign lesions.
