PURPOSE MicroRNAs (miRNA) are a class of small noncoding RNA molecules that have been implicated in a wide variety of basic cellular functions through posttranscriptional regulations on their target genes. Compelling evidence has shown that miRNAs are involved in cancer initiation and progression.
