We investigated the ability of single- and double-stranded RNA measurements to discriminate between neoplastic and non-neoplastic solid tissues. Sixty-one solid nonhematopoietic neoplasms, 10 reactive non-neoplastic lesions, and 26 normal tissue samples were the test materials.
