Cross section formulas for the single spin asymmetry in $p^\uparrow p\to \pi(\ell_T)X$ and $e p^\uparrow \to \pi(\ell_T)X$ are derived and its characteristic features are discussed.

Recent HERMES results from inclusive and semi-inclusive hadron production

Hermes collected a wealth of data using the 27.6 GeV polarized Hera lepton beam and various pure, polarized and unpolarized, gaseous targets. This unique data set opens the door to various

AN in inclusive lepton-proton collisions: TMD and twist-3 approaches

We consider the inclusive production of hadrons in lepton-nucleon scattering. For a transversely polarized nucleon this reaction shows a left-right azimuthal asymmetry, which we compute in both TMD

Single Spin Asymmetries in l p(transv. pol.) --> h X processes and transverse momentum dependent factorization

Some estimates for the transverse Single Spin Asymmetry, A_N, in the inclusive processes l p(transv. Pol.) --> h X, given in a previous paper, are expanded and compared with new experimental data.

Exploring the structure of the proton through polarization observables in lp→jet X

We present results for a complete set of polarization observables for jet production in lepton-proton collision, where the final-state lepton is not observed. The calculations are carried out in
