  journal={arXiv: Quantitative Methods},
EGG recordings performed on 13 local white rabbits (O. cuniculus) which divided into 3 groups; acetosal 35 mg/kgBM receiver, reserpine 37.5 mg/kgBM receiver, and control group. A total of 72 EGG recordings obtained from them, which divided furthermore into 9 datasets based on prepandrial state, postpandrial state, and post 1 hour drug administration state. EGG parameters such as the number of cycle per minute ($cpm$), average voltage of action potential segment ($\bar{V_a}$), root mean square…

Gastric Slow Wave Modelling Based on Stomach Morphology and Neuronal Firings
If this model proved to be accurate, the mass and pH from rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)'s stomach content could be assessed non-invasively, and could be a basis for human (Homo sapiens) trial.

Single Channel Cutaneous Electrogastrography on Local White Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) and Its Electrogastrogram Classification Algorithm
The assembly of EGG instrument, its performance testing, and its usage on local white rabbit gives an insight of an EGG recording method that could be applied on another preclinical, veterinary, and even for clinical examination.
Preclinical electrogastrography in experimental pigs
A comprehensive review of preclinical EGG in experimental pigs is provided, finding the mean dominant frequency in pigs is comparable with that found in humans.
Electrogastrography: Methodology, Validation and Applications
Findings reported in the literature demonstrating the accuracy of EGG in recording gastric slow waves and gastric dysrhythmia are reviewed and discussed and the correlation of the electrogastrogram with gastric contraction is carefully discussed.
Effect of inhibited ACTH secretion on reserpine-induced hyperchlorhydria
Evidence points to the hypothalamus as one of the sites of action of rauwolfia Compounds and the drug may ill some way cause sympathetic inhibition at this level with relative release of parasympathetic tone.
Adaptive filtering of canine electrogastrographic signals. Part 1: system design
The study of the relation between gastric myo-electrical activities recorded from serosal and cutaneous electrodes is hindered by the poor quality of the cutaneous signal. This hindrance could be…
Hyperchlorhydria induced by intravenous reserpine
The results of this study suggest that the reserpine effect on gastric acidity is most probably a humoral, or peripheral, type of response rather than a central neurogenic effect.
Prevention of ethanol and aspirin-induced gastric mucosal lesions by paracetamol and salicylate in rats: role of endogenous prostaglandins.
Paracetamol or sodium salicylate given intragastrically 30 minutes before the administration of absolute ethanol or acidified aspirin dose-dependently reduced the formation of mucosal lesions and Indomethacin, the prostaglandin synthesis inhibitor, suppressed this effect and inhibited the protective influence of paracetamols or sodium Salicylates on the production of gastric lesions.

Limitations of EGG recording, processing, computation, acceptable normal parameters, technique and reading should be known to conduct subjective assessments when EGG is used to resolve stomach dysfunction.
Electrogastrography: a document prepared by the gastric section of the American Motility Society Clinical GI Motility Testing Task Force
No therapies have convincingly demonstrated in controlled studies that correcting abnormalities detected by EGG improves upper gastrointestinal symptoms, and proposed clinical indications for performance of EGG in patients with unexplained nausea, vomiting and dyspeptic symptoms must be validated by prospective controlled investigations.
