Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is a minimally invasive off-pump procedure to replace diseased aortic heart valves. Known complications include paravalvular leaks, atrioventricular blocks, coronary obstruction and annular rupture. Careful procedure planning including appropriate stent selection and sizing are crucial.
