PURPOSE Our study is to examine astrocyte-elevated gene-1 (AEG-1) expression in triple-negative breast cancer and to determine whether it is associated with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), microvessel density (MVD), clinicopathological parameters and poor survival.
