It was demonstrated that a shotgun approach can be utilized for the characterization of phospholipids (PLs) extracted from mouse liver and brain by using nanoflow reversed phase liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS-MS).
