UNLABELLED The sodium taurocholate cotransporting polypeptide (Ntcp) is the major bile salt uptake transporter at the sinusoidal membrane of hepatocytes. Short-term feedback regulation of Ntcp by primary bile salts has not yet been investigated in vivo.
