The effects of exercise training on the coronary vasodilation following activation of the Bezold-Jarisch reflex were examined in conscious dogs. Mongrel dogs were chronically instrumented using sterile techniques for measurements of systemic hemodynamics and left circumflex coronary blood flow (CBF).
