This study aimed to evaluate the rooting capability of apical and nodal mini-cuttings of ipe-roxo ( Handroanthus heptaphyllus ) in different substrates. Shoots produced from mini-stumps were fractioned into mini-cuttings 2-cm long apical or nodal mini-cuttings and treated with 1000 mg L-1 of indolebutyric acid (IBA). Four substrate combinations were evaluated: commercial substrate composed of pine bark and vermiculite in proportions of 1:1, 2:1 and 1:2 (v /v) and commercial substrate…

Biochemical and anatomical features of adventitious rhizogenesis in apical and basal mini-cuttings of Ilex paraguariensis
No direct relationship could be stated between the biochemical features at the time of planting or 90 days after and the overall rooting performance of yerba mate the mini-cuttings and the possible relationships between rooting and specific biochemical and anatomical aspects of the species.
Vegetative propagation of mate from shoot cuttings induced by coppicing of selected plants
The results of the present study indicate that stock plants, time of shoot collection, and diameter of vegetative propagules influence adventitious rooting competence of mate cuttings from coppicing adult plants.
Effect of the hydrogel incorporation on different substrates on the rooting and quality of clonal Eucalyptus seedlings
Evaluated the rooting and quality of clonal eucalyptus seedlings grown on three different commercial substrates with and without hydrogel incorporation to improve the rooting quality and seedlings development.
The results showed that P. peroba could be vegetatively propagated using the mini-cutting technique with up to 82.5% rooting and high concentrations of IBA promotes decrease in rooting and number of roots.

Propagation of Cabralea canjerana by mini-cutting
Evaluating the rooting potential of canjerana mini-cuttings with different concentrations of indolbutyric acid (IBA) and substrate combinations concluded that the use of a mini-cutting propagation system is a feasible production technique for this important species.
Enraizamento de miniestacas de clones híbridos de Eucalyptus globulus
The survival and rooting of apical mini-cuttings were significantly higher and there was significant difference among clones regarding the evaluated variables, except for survival after 30 days in greenhouse.
Propagação vegetativa de Cordia trichotoma (Vell.) Arrab. ex Steudel por estaquia radicular
It is possible to perform the vegetative propagation of C. trichotoma by the technique of root cuttings, with the highest responses in treatments with a dose of 30 mM IBA.
Propagação vegetativa de cedro-rosa por miniestaquia
Overall, minicutting of Cedrela fissilis from material of seminal origin is technically viable and is an alternative method for producing seedlings of this species throughout the year, mainly when seeds are unavailable.
Influência da posição das miniestacas na qualidade de mudas de cedro australiano e no seu desempenho inicial no pós-plantio
Evaluation of the quality of cuttings grown from 6 cm length apical, middle and basal mini-cutting positions of the sprouts of the mini-strains showed no difference in the height, the diameter and the dry mass weight of shoots, the leaves and the roots as pointed out in the treatments.
Enraizamento de estacas herbáceas de 'mirabolano' (Prunus cerasifera ehrn) em diferentes substratos e concentrações de ácido indolbutírico
An experiment was conducted in order to verify different concentrations of IBA (indol butiric acid) and different substrates in the rooting of herbaceous cuttings of the rootstock 'Mirabolano'. The
MS salt and sucrose concentrations in the in vitro multiplication and acclimatization of potato
Only the MS salt concentrations affected the ex vitro survival of potato plantlets; reducing salt concentration increased the survival from 94.8% to 97.5%.
Influência da posição da estaca no ramo sobre o enraizamento de Pfaffia glomerata (Spreng.) Pedersen em dois substratos
The results allowed to indicate that vegetative propagation via cuttings is a feasible method,Cuttings taken from the shoot basis and the shoot middle positions show the best physiological features to rooting, and the combination of soil + carbonized rice husk is a suitable substrate for rooting and for the growth of the plantlet in the field.
