Apigenin is a flavonoid compound with diverse pharmacological functions which could develop health benefit products, but its formulation is hampered by its poor water solubility and bioavailability. In this paper, in order to overcome these difficulties, apigenin was encapsulated in LLC formed by polyoxyethylene-10-oleyl ether (Brij 97) and sodium deoxycholate (NaDC) mixtures.
