Shared-Memory Parallel Vector Implementation of the Immersed Boundary Method for the Computation of Blood Flow in the Beating Mammalian Heart

Abstract

This paper describes the parallel implementation of the immersed boundary method on a shared-memory machine such as the Cray C-90 computer. In this implementation, outer loops are parallelized and inner loops are vectorized.
