Shan--Chen interacting vacuum cosmology

  title={Shan--Chen interacting vacuum cosmology},

In this paper, we introduce a novel class of interacting vacuum models, based on recasting the equation of state originally developed in the context of lattice kinetic theory by Shan & Chen as the coupling between the vacuum and cold dark matter (CDM). This coupling allows the vacuum to evolve and is nonlinear around a characteristic energy scale ρ∗, changing into a linear coupling with a typical power law evolution at scales much lower and much higher than ρ∗. Focusing on the simplest sub…

New tests of dark sector interactions from the full-shape galaxy power spectrum

We explore the role of redshift-space galaxy clustering data in constraining non-gravitational interactions between dark energy (DE) and dark matter (DM), for which state-of-the-art limits have so

Chain Early Dark Energy: Solving the Hubble Tension and Explaining Today's Dark Energy

We propose a new model of Early Dark Energy (EDE) as a solution to the Hubble tension in cosmology, the apparent discrepancy between local measurements of the Hubble constant H0 ' 74km s−1Mpc−1 and

Chameleon early dark energy and the Hubble tension

Early dark energy (EDE) offers a particularly interesting theoretical approach to the Hubble tension, albeit one that introduces its own set of challenges, including a new ‘why then’ problem related

GetDist: a Python package for analysing Monte Carlo samples

Methods used the Python GetDist package to calculate marginalized one and two dimensional densities using Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) to calculate convergence diagnostics and produces tables of limits and output in latex.
