A 5-month-old infant presented with severe combined immunodeficiency disease, reticuloendotheliosis, and hypereosinophilia (Omenn syndrome) resulting in recurrent infections and endomyocardial disease. Bone marrow transplantation from an HLA-identical donor after chemotherapeutic conditioning led to both immunological and clinical recovery.
