  • Mice are valuable tools providing understanding of the physiology and pathologies of human pregnancy. Acute onset hypertension with kidney failure is the commonest (3-7%) human pregnancy complication, characterizing the syndrome pre-eclampsia, a medical emergency with immunological complications.
