BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Cryogenic treatment sometimes stimulates the immune system by releasing intracellular antigens. We evaluated anti-tumor immune response by analyzing alterations in serum cytokine levels. METHODS Percutaneous cryosurgery was performed in 13 patients with unresectable tumors.
