During a revision of Serpocaulon from Colombia, a new hybrid was found between S. adnatum and S. levigatum near to Manizales city, which is described and illustrated herein. Qualitative and quantitative spore and macro-morphological characters were evaluated using principal component analyses to distinguish the new taxon.
