The input from serotonin-containing nerve fibres to rabbit sympathetic preganglionic neurons projecting to either the superior cervical ganglion or the adrenal medulla was investigated by combining retrograde tracing with the B subunit of cholera toxin and immunocytochemistry for serotonin.
