SummaryTubercularia vulgaris produces extracellular pectolytic activity in solid state culture using citrus pulp pellets as a carbon source. Five peaks containing hydrolase activities were separated by ion exchange chromatography (DEAE-Sephacel). Two enzymatic forms, PG II and PG III, were purified about 8 and 10 fold, respectively.
