Context-sensing for context-aware HCI challenges the traditional sensor fusion methods with dynamic sensor configuration and measurement requirements commensurate with human perception. The Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence has uncertainty management and inference mechanisms analogous to our human reasoning process.
