One of the primary goals of the proposed future collider experiments is to search for dark matter (DM) particles using different experimental approaches. High energy e+e− colliders offer unique possibility for the most general search based on the mono-photon signature. As any e+e− collision process may include hard initial-state photon radiation, analysis of the energy spectrum and angular distributions of observed photons can be used to search for hard processes with an invisible final state… Expand

Dark matter searches with mono-photon signature at future e$^+$e$^-$ colliders
• Physics

As any e+e− scattering process can be accompanied by a hard photon emission from the initial state radiation, the analysis of the energy spectrum and angular distributions of those photons can beExpand

At colliders, Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) are candidates for dark matter (DM) and can be searched for using as tag a photon from initial state radiation. The potential for detectingExpand
Characterizing Invisible Electroweak Particles through Single-Photon Processes at High Energy $e^+e^-$ Colliders
• Physics

We explore the scenarios where the only accessible new states at the electroweak scale consist of a pair of color-singlet electroweak particles, whose masses are degenerate at the tree level andExpand
Photonic events with missing energy in e(+)e(-) collisions at root s=189 GeV
Photonic events with large missing energy have been observed in e(+)e(-) collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 189 GeV using the OPAL detector at LEP. Results are presented for event topologiesExpand
Recommendations of the LHC Dark Matter Working Group: Comparing LHC searches for dark matter mediators in visible and invisible decay channels and calculations of the thermal relic density
Weakly-coupled TeV-scale particles may mediate the interactions between normal matter and dark matter. If so, the LHC would produce dark matter through these mediators, leading to the familiarExpand
