Self-Similar Potentials and the q-Oscillator Algebra at Roots of Unity


Properties of the simplest class of self-similar potentials are analyzed. Wave functions of the corresponding Schrödinger equation provide bases of representations of the q-deformed Heisenberg-Weyl algebra.
