}Mouse plasmacytomas generally express higher levels of RNA transcripts from endogenous intracisternal A-particle (IAP) proviral elements than do lipopolysaccharide-stimulated normal lymphocytes. Lymphocytes express a limited and highly characteristic set of IAP elements (lymphocyte-specific [LS] elements).
