While selecting a free time slot of a licensed user, secondary users (SU) have to decide based on some parameters including primary user service type, secondary user service type, channel outage probability, delay of channel, transmission rate of channel etc. Proper channel utilization and quality of service (QoS) largely depend on properly selecting channel from available channels.
