PURPOSE This study was performed to determine the incidence and risk factors involved in the development of a second malignant neoplasm (SMN) after treatment of primary rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) in patients enrolled onto Intergroup Rhabdomyosarcoma Studies I and II (IRS I and II).
