Seasonal and interannual variability of remotely sensed by Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor (SeaWiFS, aboard OrbView-2 satellite) and MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS-A, aboard Aqua satellite) surface chlorophyll a (CHL) in the Black Sea was analyzed since the start of SeaWiFS mission in 1997 till the spring of 2006.
