In the Sässman area, province of Hälsingland, Sweden, mosquitoes were sampled in 1983 from aquatic habitats, overwintering sites, cattle sheds, human bait, with UV-light traps, rabbit-, guinea-pig-, hen-, dove- and unbaited suction traps and similarly baited net traps.
