Abstract.A search for pair-produced leptoquarks is performed using $\mbox{e}^ + \mbox{e}^-$ collision events collected by the OPAL detector at LEP at centre-of-mass energies between 189 and 209 GeV. The data sample corresponds to a total integrated luminosity of 596 pb-1. The leptoquarks are assumed to be produced via couplings to the photon and the Z0. For a given search channel only leptoquark decays involving a single lepton generation are considered. No evidence for leptoquark pair…

Impact of nuclear gluon distributions on leptoquark production by neutrinos

We investigate non-standard interactions of neutrinos with atomic nuclei through excitations of leptoquarks. A leptoquark term in the Lagrangian admits the possibility that neutrinos interact with

Search for pair production of first-generation scalar leptoquarks at √s=13 TeV

A search for the pair production of first-generation scalar leptoquarks is performed using proton-proton collision data recorded at 13 TeV center-of-mass energy with the CMS detector at the LHC. The

All synthetic approaches that have been reported for the synthesis of SCPs are discussed and categorized, and the characterization tools, properties, and potential applications of these new polymers are described herein.

Do leptoquarks manifest themselves in ultra-high energy neutrino interactions?

A bstractIt is assumed that neutrino-nucleon scattering at ultra-high energies effectively proceeds through excitations of leptoquarks in neutrino-quark subprocesses. This approach reproduces the

Searches for R-parity violating decays of Gauginos at 183 GeV at LEP

Abstract. Searches for pair-produced charginos and neutralinos with R-parity violating decays have been performed using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 56 pb$^{-1}$

Search for R-parity violating decays of scalar fermions at LEP

Abstract. A search for pair produced scalar fermions with couplings that violate R-parity has been performed using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 56 pb$^{-1}$ at a

An introduction to explicitR-parity violation

I discuss the theoretical motivations forR-parity violation, review the experimental bounds and outline the main changes in collider phenomenology compared to conservedR-parity.
