A search is presented for new particles decaying to large numbers (7 to greater or equal to 10) of jets, missing transverse momentum and no isolated electrons or muons. This analysis uses 20.3/fb of pp collision data at sqrt(s)=8 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The sensitivity of the search is enhanced by considering the number of b-tagged jets and the scalar sum of masses of large-radius jets in an event. No evidence is found for physics beyond the Standard…

A search for supersymmetry or similar new physics is carried out using a sample with 19.5 fb−1 integrated luminosity of √ s = 8 TeV pp collisions collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Our main
Author(s): Dishaw, Adam Leo | Advisor(s): Richman, Jeffrey D | Abstract: This dissertation describes a search for supersymmetry in 35.9 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collisions with sqrt(s) = 13 TeV
An inclusive search for supersymmetry using razor variables is performed in events with four or more jets and no more than one lepton. The results are based on a sample of proton-proton collisions

We confront the ATLAS and CMS new physics searches with simplified models from R-parity violating (RPV) supersymmetry that contain naturally light stops and higgsinos. We emphasize the important role
Previous experiments have not found evidence for supersymmetric particles, and set limits on the mass of supersymmetric particles. However, with the high collision energies achieved at the Large

The first search for dark matter candidate production through pure electroweak vector boson fusion processes is presented. Events with two jets in the vector boson fusion topology and large missing
This thesis presents a search for Supersymmetry carried out in a particular scenario arising from the Gauge Mediated Supersymmetry breaking mechanism that assumes a massless gravitino as lightest
For several theoretically and experimentally motivated reasons, super- symmetry (SUSY) has for some time been identified as an interesting candidate for a theory of fundamental particle physics
Model-independent and model-dependent limits on new particle production are set, and interpretations in supersymmetric models are given, and several limits from the Large Electron Positron (LEP) era have been extended.
