A search is presented for long-lived particles produced in pairs in proton-proton collisions at the LHC operating at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The data were collected with the CMS detector during the period from 2015 through 2018, and correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 140 fb−1. This search targets pairs of long-lived particles with mean proper decay lengths between 0.1 and 100 mm, each of which decays into at least two quarks that hadronize to jets, resulting in a final…

Enhancement of the double Higgs production via leptoquarks at the LHC
Measurements of single Higgs production and its decays are in good agreement with the Standard Model. There is still room for large modifications in double Higgs production at LHC, though these
Multi-track displaced vertices at B-factories
Abstract We propose a program at B-factories of inclusive, multi-track displaced vertex searches, which are expected to be low background and give excellent sensitivity to non-minimal hidden
Collider Searches for Dark Matter through the Higgs Lens
TLDR
Some of the relevant theoretical models as well as the results from the searches for dark matter in signatures that involve a Higgs-like particle at the Large Hadron Collider are reviewed.
Review of opportunities for new long-lived particle triggers in Run 3 of the Large Hadron Collider
Long-lived particles (LLPs) are highly motivated signals of physics Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) with great discovery potential and unique experimental challenges. The LLP search programme made

Search for long-lived particles with displaced vertices in multijet events in proton-proton collisions at s=13  TeV
Results are reported from a search for long-lived particles in proton-proton collisions at √s = 13  TeV delivered by the CERN LHC and collected by the CMS experiment. The data sample, which was
Search for long-lived particles using displaced jets in proton-proton collisions at s=13  TeV
An inclusive search is presented for long-lived particles using displaced jets. The search uses a data sample collected with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC in 2017 and 2018, from proton-proton
Search for pair-produced three-jet resonances in proton-proton collisions at s=13  TeV
A search has been performed for pair-produced resonances decaying into three jets. The proton-proton collision data used for this analysis were collected with the CMS detector in 2016 at a
Search for pair-produced resonances decaying to quark pairs in proton-proton collisions at s=13  TeV
A general search for the pair production of resonances, each decaying to two quarks, is reported. The search is conducted separately for heavier resonances (masses above 400 GeV), where each of the
Identification of heavy-flavour jets with the CMS detector in pp collisions at 13 TeV
Many measurements and searches for physics beyond the standard model at the LHC rely on the efficient identification of heavy-flavour jets, i.e. jets originating from bottom or charm quarks. In this
Gaugino production in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV
A bstractMotivated by hints for a light Standard Model-like Higgs boson and a shift in experimental attention towards electroweak supersymmetry particle production at the CERN LHC, we update in this
Jet energy scale and resolution in the CMS experiment in pp collisions at 8 TeV
Improved jet energy scale corrections, based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb^(-1) collected by the CMS experiment in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass
Signatures of long-lived gluinos in split supersymmetry
The authors examine the experimental signatures for the production of gluinos at colliders and in cosmic rays within the split supersymmetry scenario. Unlike in the MSSM, the gluinos in this model
Probing baryogenesis with displaced vertices at the LHC
A bstractThe generation of the asymmetric cosmic baryon abundance requires a departure from thermal equilibrium in the early universe. In a large class of baryogenesis models, the baryon asymmetry
