South Australian sea level flooding and erosion policy is described, with particular emphasis on how greenhouse sea level projections are taken into account. The paper highlights technical, funding and legal issues which have arisen in public discussion of the policy and from its implementation. As context, brief notes are provided on likely sea level impacts in South Australia and on aspects of the State's coastal management and planning systems.
