OBJECTIVE To determine the prevalence rate of depression and its relationship with patients' socio-demographic characteristics and chronic diseases. METHODS This cross sectional study was performed at the Family Medicine Department, Sharurah Armed Forces Hospital (SAFH), Sharurah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
